TWO EPIC DAYS BND 5/15/09 & WARPED 7/29/09

I can still remember January of this year when my best friend Taylor wrote me a note in English class, MAY 15TH 2009!!!!!!! I waited and waited and waited for this day, and it certainly lived up to my expectations.

The day finally came, and Taylor and I rushed to my house right after school to get ready and then we were on our way to Believers Never Die Part Deux in downtown Indianapolis. She had made a mix CD of all 5 bands on the way down, and we yelled ALL TIME LOW and COBRA STARSHIP to random cars on the drive down. We got to the venue (the lawn at White River State Park) at around 3:30, and we meet up with Taylor’s cousin Ashley and her friend, I go to all my concerts with those two (i had never met her friend). Mason Musso was randomly roaming around the line outside the venue but barely any one knew who he was so we got a picture with him. Then Taylor and Ashley had meet and greet with all 5 bands (which was $150 so I didn’t buy it, so they got in line for that while I waited. By some miracle, a lady came up to me and said, “I saw you with those other girls who have meet and greet and I have an extra and I was wondering if you wanted it.” I couldn’t do anything except burst into tears. I was finally going to meet ATL and FOB, and Cobra, and even Metro Station and Hey Monday. I was mostly excited for All Time Low, because this would be my first concert where I actually was obsessed with them and knew all their songs, I had seen them at Warped08 but had only known Dear Maria and Six Feet.

My hopes were crushed soon after walking in for meet & greet, when FOB’s body guard told us we were ONLY meeting Fall Out Boy. Forgive me if I sound ungrateful in anyway, because I do truly love FOB, but they were not my favorite band at all. I started crying again and my friends and I were yelling at the official. WE PAID ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS FOR THIS MEET AND GREET AND WE WANT TO MEET ALL TIME LOW AND COBRA STARSHIP AND HEY MONDAY. ON LIVENATION IT SAID VIP MEET AND GREET WITH ALL FIVE BANDS. We almost got kicked out and went to the FOB meet and greet in a sour mood. It wasn’t anything like an ATL m&g, they could sign one item, and you had to be in a picture with 3 or 4 random strangers. Don’t get me wrong, I am so thankful now that I had the oppurtunity to meet them, but at the time, I was sad I didn’t get to meet the other bands because they were really who I had come for.

After the m&g, the early entry people had already gotten in, so we made it to the stage and got third row. My friend Taylor had been having these random stomach pains all day, and had even gone to the hospital the night before but couldn’t miss the show, because all we had been saying since weightless had come out in march, “this could be all i’ve waited for” so hey monday came out and they were GREAT. i had not heard any of their songs before this concert except homecoming but i immeaditley fell in love with their music, and cassadee was GORGEOUS. they also played run dont walk, candles, how you love me now, and arizona.

after hey monday, they started setting up for ALL TIME LOW. again, this was my first concert as a really obsessed fan, and i was STOKED. i heard some girl say “OMG THERES JACKS GUITAR” when they brought out zack’s pink guitar, and i just turned and said “ummmm thats jacks?” when atl came out i was speechless, like i literally forgot the words to six feet under the stars, which was what they came out to. when alex said WHAT THE FUCK IS UP YOU SEXY MOTHER FUCKERS i seriously thought i was in a dream. their set was so much fun. they told hilarious stories… “put my dick in the popcorn” and played six feet, jasey, CSS, the beach, holly, WEIGHTLESS, and dear maria. they said they were going to be out to meet all of us after, so taylor ashley and i started going over for that.

as soon as we started going over by the buses, taylor was on the ground almost crying. her stomach pains were back, so ash and i stayed with her and got her food and water and she was fine, and we even missed the first part of cobra, which was really hard for her because cobra has been her favorite band since 2005 and gabe even knows her by face and “remembers us from the murat”. by the time i got over to where the boys would have been meeting people, they had already left. i was really sad to think i had lost my chance to meet ATL, but knowing i helped my best friend be able to stay at the concert we had been waiting for for so long kinda made up for it. we somehow forced ourselves back towards the front for the end of cobra’s set and danced along to city is at war, pete wentz, kiss my sass, send my love to the dancefloor and smile for the paparazzi. the girls next to us didnt know any of the words or how to do fangs up and kept staring at us. during cobra’s set it started POURING. gabe was so wasted. it was hilarious.

since metro station was next, and i certainly didnt care about them, i got in line for merch. of course, a lot of the amazing atl shirts like sleeping with band dudes… that had been for sale earlier on on the tour were gone, so i just got a believers never die shirt with all the tour dates on the back. i could hear metro station perform and they were HORRIBLE. trace cyrus the horse cannot sing. they played kelsey, control, wish we were older, shake it, and seventeen forever.

although i was still sour after being jipped out of my m&gs earlier, i was still so excited to see fall out boy. they were the band that got me into punk music, so i really do owe them a lot of thanks. their set was amazing and had me dancing, smiling, and singing for over an hour. they started with disloyal order of water buffaloes, and followed that with thriller, a little less sixteen candles, sugar were goin down, this aint a scene, i dont care, headfirst slide, i slept with someone in fob, grand theft autumn, what a catch donnie, coffees for closers, dead on arrival, shes my winona, beat it, americas suitehearts, thnx fr the mmrs, tiffany blews, dance dance and of course, SATURDAY.

i left so so excited. what an amazing night with some of my favorite bands. as i drove home with taylor and ashley, so excited about prom the next day, we had a wreck, which was my fault, and certainly put a damper on the evening. of course it sucked, but now i just look back at the night for how much fun it was, not the wreck. my parents werent even mad, thank god.

EPIC DAY 2 7/29/2009

warped tour is always my favorite day of the year. warped08 introduced me to all time low, and when ATL announced they were again going to be on warped this past summer i was so excited. my hopes were shot though (which i should have realized since indy SUCKS) when they were only doing later dates on warped. my dad’s best friend lives in cincinnatti which is only 2ish hours from indianapolis, so i asked him to drive me, taylor, and ashley to warped while he visited his friend. my dad has never been thrilled about my taste in music or travelling for concerts, but he agreed.

on july 29, we left indy around 7am and it was of course, raining. it poured the whole drive on the interstate but as soon as we got to riverbend music center, it stopped raining. the line was ENORMOUS, but we never stand in line, and no one was paying attention, so we walked right to the front of the line. the gates opened early and we sprinted in to see when everyone was playing. ATL: 4:45 and NO SIGNING :(

me, taylor and ash walked around to see where all the stages were set up since we’d never been to this venue before and to get merch. i bought SOOO much stuff from vinny and for sure creeped a little bit. i got the purple booty shorts, which vinny told me i needed a small, and i was flattered, but i said “my mom will be mad, make it a medium” and he failed at folding the posters but i got one anyway, and then i also got a fake fake fake it shirt.

we went to go see cash cash which was the first time i had ever heard of them and i have been in love since PARTY IN YOUR BEDROOM was so much fun, breathe carolina, and valencia, and then really had nothing to do until ATL so we went to the main pavillion where the devil wears prada and underoath were playing. we knew that all the people into screamo would leave after underoath so we waited right by the pit for two ear killing hours. we rushed into the pit and got barricade. we had to wait another hour through bouncing souls, in which i tried, finally successfully to get zack (standing shirtless backstage) to acknowledge me. and had to miss hit the lights and sing it loud, but it was well worth it being back with my atl boys. the opening to their set was so cool, and totally atl. the rap music “lets get drunk” or something and then them jumping around made me so excited. they started off with weightless, and played jasey, coffee shop, poppin champagne, six feet under the stars, damned if i do ya, lost in stereo, BREAK YOUR LITTLE HEART, which i was so excited about, and dear maria. there was a speaker right in front of me and jack kept coming and sitting on it. he was hilarious. one time it rolled backwards and he lost his balance and we were both cracking up. some girl had a wipe off board and alex challenged her to write something funny on it, which she failed at so he said “im coming for your heard, and no i dont mean blow job.” i got separated from ashley and taylor during the set because the crowd in the pit was crazy. there was so much moshing and crowd surfing, i even got kicked in the nose. the guys working security were all really cute and must have thought i was so weird, but oh well. it was amazing.

after atl, we had to hurry out of the pit to get to the maine. i missed the white tie affair because i wanted to stay at the maine. i wasn’t close at all to them but i still sang along. it was my 3rd time seeing the maine but it never gets old. john ohhh was hilarious and i LOVED pour some sugar on me. they also played if the way we talk, i must be dreaming, girls do what they want, into your arms, and i think one more but i cant remember. after the maine i ran to meet taylor and ash at forever the sickest kids, taking the long way past the atl merch tent, to once again, not see the boys there. i wasnt expecting to, but i needed to check or i would have been mad at myself. forever the sickest kids was so much fun. hey brittany is one of my favorite songs ever and they also played believe me i’m lying, whoa oh, shes a lady, etc.

taylor and ash went to go meet forever the sickest kids so i was wandering around looking for food when i saw RIAN by the atl tent. almost all the bands were done playing except 3oh!3 so vinny and the gang was tearing the tent down. rian had a red cup in his hand hahaha and there were so many people walking past but no one knew who he was. i was like RIAN and we had a five minute conversation about how they never come to indianapolis. he gave me one of the best hugs ever. i feel like a terrible ATL fan for not having met all 4 of the guys, but i was so stoked to meet rian. he probably had better things to be doing besides talking to me but he did anyway. as i was walking away i tripped over the framework of the tent so me and rian shared a laugh about that. on the way to find taylor and ash at ftsk, i talked to the guys from what happened in vegas and cash cash. jcook was still signing at the ftsk kids tent so i got to meet him too, and he said “dont try to kiss me” when i got my picture with him.

it was such a fun day, so many memories. i cant wait for warped 10.

My AMAZING Warped Date- EmAllTimeLow

Well this all time low date was different…because it was WARPED tour! This year was my first warped, and I wish I could go again and again. Warped tour is amazing. I cant believe I haven’t been before. I go to concerts all the time, and warped is concert heaven. Hot guys EVERYWHERE, music EVERYWHERE, ahhh it was great. I love it. I want to be there now.

So I walk into warped after waiting in the lines, and my sister goes, “look its Pat.” Well she has to repeat it a few times until it finally registers PAT KIRCH is right in front of me. I don’t know if everyone knows this fact about me, but Pat Kirch is the one person I will shake and can’t talk and get SOOOO shy around. It’s embarrassing really. I knew I had to get over my fear of approaching my biggest crush ever, so I walked up to him. I said hi and no one was around him. He was just walking around with a sign for The Maine. Well we talked about the set and where they were playing. I said I was very excited…probably sounded like a little girl haha but I cant help it. I can keep my cool with pretty much everyone except Pat Kirch.

After the little Pat Kirch fangirl moment my sister and I ran to see Breathe Carolina. They were amazing; I love them. The rest of the day we spent running around to see different bands. I saw pretty much everyone I wanted to see. I saw 20 or more bands that day, all amazing… but nothing compares to All Time Low.

I found out All Time Low was playing at 1:45, so my friends and I went up to the ATL tent to check things out at 1. I saw Vinny and I said hi. I talked to him for a little, but he was really busy. THEN I SAW EVAN. Now I love Evan so much. I’ve talked to him the most out of ATL’s crew, and so he knows exactly who I am.  My sis saw him and called his name cause he was sitting in ATL’s tent. It was kind of hard to hear because AntiFlag was playing in the background. Mallory and I talked to him for a little while about warped, food, tour, whats been up, ect. He calls us his NC best friends.

Well Evan was really hungry and hadn’t eaten, so he left to go get food. It worked out though cause as soon as he left I saw FLYZIK. I went around the tent and said hi. He laughed at me cause I was so excited to see him. He said good seeing me again. We took a picture, and I talked to him for awhile. He was telling me how warped was going, why he decided to shave his head, and some more stuff. Then I go oh by the way I’m going sidestage today, I’m on the list thingy for the hustler club. Matt got all happy and goes oh good. The other Matt (all time low’s assistant merch guy) checked us off the list and told us to come back in 15-20 minutes.

After we walked around a little we came back exactly 15 minutes later cause we couldn’t wait any longer. Flyzik saw us and said good let’s just leave now. Then Matt starts running through the crowd. It was so hard to keep up haha, but as we tried to get backstage security yelled and said we weren’t allowed. Flyzik was just like move over these girls are with me. He told like 5 other people we were with him…matt knows how to take charge, but it was great having him keep saying they’re with me. Next he told us to stand under the tents where all of all time low’s stuff is set up. We saw their mics, drums sticks, everything they need to set up.  It was really cool just being able to see everything.

Well we’re standing there looking around and I don’t know if this makes sense but you know when  you have your brain registering stuff you’ve said after you’ve already said it… well that’s what happen to me. I was just standing there and I said Alex and it took me a few seconds to even realize Alex had been standing RIGHT next to us. I said hi and he smiled and said hi, but then had to walk away to practice his vocal warm-ups. It was SOOOO hard not being able to talk to him with him being a foot or two away, but he was busy. Then I see Rian, Jack, and Zack all getting ready. I felt like such a creeper just having to watch them get ready to go onstage but not able to talk to them. They get really quiet and just pace around. Jack recognized me and I waved and smiled which was awesomeeee :) to know that he knows who I am. Luckily we didn’t scream any names or anything because security got mad and us for NOT doing anything. They probably would have thrown us out if we did say something.  Security was being really annoying and they said give them their space, this is their time, get away from the tent (which matt just told us to stand under?! We told him matt did and he said I don’t know who that is, move). We decided to move anyways so we wouldn’t get in trouble even though we weren’t bothering them.

Matt comes to find us next and takes us onstage… like literally ON stage. I was standing next to Rian and then the rest of the girls were on my right just lined up on stage. We felt like backup dancers or something. It was ridiculous how close they were and HOW MANY PEOPLE were in the audience. I had stage fright a little haha it was crazy. Some people cheered when we came on too. Matt just tells us to stay there and make sure there is space for Grieco and Dannyk to move pass us and then leaves. So we are on stage in front of thousands of people wondering what in the world we should do. There is this other girl there… I thought it was Lisa, but it wasn’t and she was friends with the band. I still don’t know who she was but she was alone and kept giving Matt her water during the set and talking to them. (Other than her though we were the only people on stage)

As soon as all time low came on I started shaking and smiling so much. It was definitely an experience I will NEVER forget. It was the most fun I have ever had, and I thank them so much for providing me with that opportunity. It was way different and kinda sad not being able to see their faces the whole show, but it was almost just as fun watching the audience’s faces and reactions. This girl flashed ATL probably for 5 minutes straight. Alex just says… oh there she goes again. Everyone including crew was cracking up and just turned their heads. During the set Alex, Jack, Rian, and Zack all smiled, stuck out their tongue, nodded, or waved at us. You could mainly hear the drums and a lot of back up singing, which is something I don’t hear as much in the audience. I could hear Flyzik a lot too :) and it was AWESOME seeing Rian drum. I watched him most of the time. We stayed on stage the entire time, but as SOON as dear maria ended (the last song obviously) we were rushed off stage.

We got off the stage and security kept saying move out of the way, so we waited for Matt. Mallory yelled for Rian when he walked by and he said he’d come back to take a picture. I called Jack and he knew who we were from past shows so as soon as he saw us he screamed HAI FRIENDSSSS :). Haha I love jack. We’re his buddies. I told him thank you and how awesome it was to see a concert from his point of view. I loved the circle pit and challenged him to do them at more shows cause they look SO cool. He said now you see why we’re always saying jump up and down or clap your hands cause it looks so cool. They’ve tried to do figure 8’s and stuff too.

Then we saw Zack about to leave and luckily since Jack came up because he recognized us Zack came over to talk to him. We asked Zack for a picture and talked to him for a little, but he had to go because “he only had one hour to go workout before signing” hahah that’s what he said no joke. He’s great.

(Somewhere in the hectic amazingness of backstage I got Jacks and Alexs guitar picks btw.)

Alex left AS SOON as the set ended. Flyzik came over to see if we knew where Alex was, but we ended up talking instead. He told us we were real cool to have back there and he was glad we were there because he said it was hard on Alex always having to stay true to himself when everyone is always all over him and stuff. I thanked him so many times for letting us be back there. I actually ended up talking to matt for awhile. I told him I could hear him almost as much as Alex in the back and he should just become lead vocals for the band joking around, but Matt said he’d never want all the stuff Alex goes through. Eventually he was like well actually I have to get you guys out of here you’re not supposed to be here still. Smart Mallory says Rian was coming back, so we asked if we could wait.

Matt went and got Rian for us and we talked to Rian while Matt went off. I told Rian it was amazing watching him drum and how into it he gets. We were having a deep convo about how he said we were really cool but how so many fans yell and scream and too many people get back stage when this girl gets carried over passed out shaking, not breathing, and it was so scary. Rian runs up to her and immediately started trying to find water to give her and got help for her and everything. He was the hero that day because the medics came right away and hopefully the girl was ok. After that Rian had to go too…

That means Flyzik left looking for Alex, Jack went to shower, Rian went to shower, Zack went to work out, and we are left backstage. Haha Matt forgot to come let us out but I guess he didn’t really care cause he knew we weren’t fan girls or anything and said we were cool backstage so we kinda just walked around a little minding to ourselves. Underoath was playing so we were backstage for that for a little bit which was pretty cool. One guy came up to us and asked who we were with and we just said Flyzik from All Time Low. After awhile though we wanted to leave and see more shows so we just walked out.

The rest of the day was amazing as well though. I went crowd surfing for the first time ever during Forever the Sickest Kids!!!! It was awesomeeee but scary. I dropped down but some people still had me and I went flying up again. Sing it loud was really good like always. I loved the maine, but I didn’t get to meet all of them which made me kinda sad… but I did meet Pat which is all that really really matters.

I walked by All Time Lows signing…twice. The first time I just went to see how long the line was. Rian told us earlier to go and then was like oh wait haha Im already talking to you right now. I probably would have gone anyways but there is so much going on at warped I really didn’t feel like using time standing in line. The second time I walked by it was almost over so we just waited to say bye to them. Jack spotted me and stuck out his tongue then laughed, so I did the same. Rian and Alex looked over every time there wasn’t a person in front of them which was a lot and smiled. Haha it was so cute and awesome to know they know us. When Alex got up people started following and calling his name… I kinda walked a little with him just because I REALLY wanted a picture since he was the only one I didn’t get one with that day, but I didn’t have the chance. Security was blocking anyone from getting close.

Oh and every time I walked by Vinny Vegas I would wave and sometimes stop to talk. He asked if we were from Richmond because he remembered us from the show two shows ago. Hahah woo officially they all know us crew included. That has been my goal in life pretty much and being known for being chill and someone they’d want to have backstage is just ahh wow. They are the greatest band hands-down, love them and LOVE warped tour.

BND May 16, 2009; Milwaukee, WI - megan! [jbkat_Ftw3]

First of all, this show was 23085982352 times better than Chicago. That’s a fact.

As most of you know, I graduated high school the same day as this show. My graduation started at 1 PM and I was freaaaking out that I wouldn’t make it to my meet and greet. It ended up ending at about 2:30 and then I stuck around to take pictures with my friends and to chat with them and whatnot. I ended up leaving the school at about 3:10 and I had to get home change, eat, and leave by 3:30 in order for me to have any sort of chance to make it to Milwaukee by 4:15. I was texting Ashley like the whole time making sure she told Flyzik to wait for me if he got there before I did, haha. I ended up getting there at about 4:20-4:25. Good thing Flyzik was not on time again, haha. I got my wristband and greeted my hustlers. :) We didn’t end up getting taken in till about 4:45 so it didn’t even matter, haha. So…

Meet and greet.
This was where alllll the fun begin.
It was in this really little area but it was so worth it. If I didn’t make it to this, I woulda criiiied. Anyways, the first person I chatted with was Zack. He was actually chatting with me. I told him how I graduated that day and I had him sign my copied diploma. He told me I was finally free and then he asked if I was going to college. And I was like yeah, of course, and he’s like “oh, well you’re not free then, I’M free though!” and then he was like “well, not really” and then he asked Flyzik when his laundry would be in, rofl. haha. It was cute. I got a picture, and then I moved on to Alex. I gave him my diploma also, and I talked to him about that a little bit. I took my own picture, and then Ashley chatted with him a little about Bamboozle and how he hopes they’ll get to play it again next year. I’ll definitely be there for that if they do. :) Well, no matter what, I’ll be there. Haha. Then Ashley and I went to Jack. While we were waiting to chat with him we were rubbing his back, haha. He kept giving us these cute, funny looks during it. But then he told us that it felt good, so we didn’t stop until it was our turn to talk to him, rofl. Also, some girl asked him to sign their Band of the Year AP Mag and he’s like “it’s really hard to sign this because it’s so dark” so i was like “just sign the maine’s side!”. I didn’t think he heard me, but he turned around and gave me this ‘evil’ glare. and I was like “hahaha sorry!” and he’s like “:D Nah, I’m just kiddin’! :D” When it was our turn, Ashley chatted with him first and gave him the card Theresa made him for his birthday. It had the whole Lost theme going on, it was cute. When he opened it his eyes got REALLY wide and he was like “holy shit!” when he saw all the messages the hustlers wrote for him. It was really adorable<3. Then Ashley took two pictures. One cute, one funny. The funny one was hilarious because he was picking his nose during it and I was laughing too hard so I made Ashley laugh and she ended up geeking out about it, so she didn’t really make a face, it was cute tho. hahaha. :) Then it was MY turn!! Yay. Love Jack. After he looked at me, the first thing he said to me was “HEYY! :) I know you! I remember meeting you!” I was like “O_O hell yea!” I probably had the hugest eyes ever after that, omg. haha. So, I had him sign my diploma, that was cute. I gave him like 28402 hugs during that time. haha. We took two pictures, too. One was a cute one. And for the second picture I was like “Can I pleaseee wear your awesome Sox hat in it?” [mind you, i kept saying I LOVE YOUR HAT like every 5 seconds, rofl.] Plus, earlier while I was waiting by him this chick kept trying to pull of his hat and he wouldn’t let her and he’s like “I HAVE HAT HAIR. stop!” And then she was all “URGHHH” I was like haha, sucka. lol. But then I asked him and I was like “Prettty please. :)” And then he was like “Alright, but only because you’re wearing a JAGK shirt! :)” And he took off his hat and shook out his hair and put it on my head. I was like hell yeah, this is epic. And we took our picture and I reluctantly gave back his hat. haha. I hugged him again and walked away. I went to Rian. He was off in his own little corner. I gave him my diploma, too and he signed it. We talked about college again. I got my picture, and then walked over to Flyzik for a second. I looked at my phone and saw it was 5:15. We got until 5:25 with them. I was like WOW, we have a lot of time left! I tried to start a chant saying “TWITPIC TWITPIC TWITPIC TWITPIC” They said it was too dark and there wasn’t enough time. I was really upset. I wanted one of those!! So instead, we made our rounds again and decided to take group pictures with a few of them. First we wetnt to Jack. I was like long time no see! Too cute. Ashley and I took a group picture with him. He made the cutest face, ever. Then we went to Alex, and also took a picture. We made our way back to Flyzik where we took a picture. I gave him my diploma to sign and he was like “what if colleges need to see this?” I was like “it’s not the real thing, silly. I just took a copy!” haha. The boys had to leave and then it was a free for all for spots in the pit.

The security guards made everyone sit down in the pit before they were allowed to run for barricade. It was weird. I immediately went to the merch and was the first person to buy any, haha. I was afraid they were going to run out again like Allstate.

Hey Monday
We just sat on the floor in the back for them just because we’re not that interested in them. It wasn’t too bad, we just chilled out.

Metro Station
Not interested in at all. I just stood around the whole time. It was lame. I have nothing to say about it, haha. Trace Cyrus just creeped me out.

All Time Low
Weirdest set ever. They played their first song, Six Feet Under the Stars, as usual. And then after Alex had to get off stage. The rest of the boys thought he was puking, so that’s what the crowd thought. During his time off Jack was like “let’s play dammit!” So he got the crowd chanting “MATT MATT MATT” and then Flyzik came out on stage and the band played a cover of Dammit. I recorded it, it was amazing. Then after that Jack was like “can any of you sing?” and then Jack picked a random guy out of the crowd to come on stage. They ended up playing a portion of Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down. I recorded that also. After that Alex was saying from backstage “this is so awkward!” No one knew what was going on. Alex eventually came back and they played Weightless [which I called Haley during. :)], Jasey Rae, The Beach, and Dear Maria. They had to take out Coffeeshop Soundtrack, my favorite song! =[ Either way, it was still an awesome set. :) Eventually that night Alex tweeted that he had an anxiety attack during their set. =/ Aw, poor boy.

Cobra Starship
Ashley and I had an ultimate dance party during their set. It was too much fun, omg. It’s so much more fun in the back when you’re dancing around instead of being sandwiched in the middle of the pit, rofl. They blew it out of the park, as usual. I cannot wait for their cd or to see them again! :)

Fall Out Boy
We watched a total of like 2 songs of their set. Haha. We immediately left during and went to the merch. We were just chilling there until I saw Gabe walk by. I immediately grabbed Ashley and was like “come on!” and we got in line to meet him. I was lucky I saw him when I did because the line got soooooo long and we were like within the first 10 people, it was awesome. We met him. He was probably one of the sweetest people I talked to that night. He was soo excited about me graduating, haha. He signed my diploma [made me hold his drink during it, haha] Jesse was like ”i feel like I’m holding apple juice!” and he’s like “oh, yeah, it’s apple juice” haha =P we talked about what I wanted to do. I was like “computer engineering!” he’s like “ohh, fancy schmancy!” haha. He was cute. We took a picture with my diploma. Then we went right over to Suarez. He had like 5 people by him while Gabe had like 40, rofl. Suarez was cute. I was expecting him to remember me, but he didn’t. haha. We’ve only chatted on myspace, haha. Ater that we saw Rian by the merch and he ended up starting to sell some haha, just because it was getting crowded since it was nearing the end of FOB’s set. No one even realized he was in a band, I could tell. Or else the ones that did notice were like ultimately FREAKING out. It was soooo funny. We literally stayed by merch until everrrrryone was gone. Ashley wanted to say by to Vinny Vegas so we stuck around. :) It was fun though.

Then we went outside and I saw a big mob of people by ATL’s bus waiting for them, haha. I was like Oh, damn, with our luck they won’t even come out! Until I heard a girl run over to her friends and be like “guys! Jack is over there!” That triggered my feet. Haha. I ran over there and Ashley/Jesse followed. When we got there they ended up leaving so I was there by myself until my parents got there. :) I didn’t mind though because I was seeing Jack again. I ran by him and the group of people around him and he saw me and kept making these cute faces at me. I could tell he recognized me from the meet and greet before. :) I got to him and was like can you sign my shirt? And I gave him my silver sharpie so he could sign on the black of my JAGK shirt. He started to and was like “nah, that looks bad” so he used his black marker to sign the ‘J’ part of my shirt. He signed his usual JBSTAR + smiley face, and then underneath it wrote “<3 you!” :D Made me happy, I really hope it doesn’t fade off the shirt. It makes it 239523 times better. Then we talked about how AWESOME his hats always are. This time it was a WHITE white sox hat. He said this was the first time he wore it and that when he put it on Matt was like “That’s a keeper!” I was like “I completely agree, I love it” I decided I’m going to go buy the black white sox hat. I realllly like it. Then, I was like “So what kind of face are we going to make in this picture?” He’s like “Like I’m going to barf on you!” And he turned his head to mine and I could feel him breathing on me, and his nose like squished against my cheek. I swore that he was going to give me a kiss on the cheek, rofl, but he didn’t. I guess that’s what everyone thought around me, too. Haha. So after that I left him and went back by Rian. I chatted with these girls that I see at everrry show in Milwaukee, haha. And then got a picture with Rian, and then Alex came out! I was like oh great! I can get all 4 of them again! But right when it was my turn, he had to go. =/ And by then Zack had left too, So I only got Rian + Jack. But it was okay. I didn’t mind one bit. I called my parents to see if they were there yet and they were. I got in the car and left. I was instantly bummed because I knew that was the last time I would see them for months. But honestly, I can say it was my best experience with All Time Low ever. I just hope it gets better every time from now on. :)

I hope I didn’t leave anything out! Hahaha.

LAST DATE OF BND as told by Danni

So we got there at like 2pm and walked around for a bit. Contemplating going to the Science Museum because Rian and Jack tweeted that they were there but decided against it. Then we went up and waited to get our wristbands at about 4 pm. They didn’t get the wristbands till like 4:15 and then it was absolute chaos in there. It’s like this lonng hallway and it’s so small and it was SOOO crowded. Finally they made us line up in three lines, one was FOB early entry, the second was FOB meet and greet, and the third was All Time Low/Metro Station meet and greet. About 5 minutes later they took us in where the merch booths were (just the ATL/MS meet and greet) and then Matt comes up and waits for everyone to get in. He says we’re waiting 10 more minutes for latecomers but asks who’s here for Metro Station. TWO people raise their hand and they go somewhere else.

I go ask Matt for a picture and he says wait till we’re inside. I shrug it off and go to stand with my friends again. Then Matt leads us into the ground floor area. He explains the rules to us and we laugh about something he said, I forgot exactly what. Something about you can do anything within reason. 5 minutes later the guys come out and we stare them down. They’re halfway to us when they say something about swine flu and that we can’t come any close and Zack starts holding his arms out in front of them like a bodyguard or something. Then they come over and Zack is still like protecting them and finally they just go their seperate ways. Rian was giving us all gum, well what he had left of it. It was really sweet of him. Of course I got some. :) Then when they went their seperate ways of course I go straight to Rian. He’s talking about something with us, forgot exactly what but then I pull my candle out of my bag and hand it to him. His face brightens and he says thank you thank you cuz it’s a big one! Then he reads the side of the candle aloud and is like AWWW thanks girlll and gives me a huge hug.

Then I think I went to Alex. We didn’t really talk about much but I looked at this dogtag he got from a fan (she was giving each of them one) that said his name and vocals and army or something and I was like “So Alex, you’re a singer in the army?” and he’s like “HELL YEAH” I forgot what I said after that but it cause him to take the person’s magazine and swatted me in the head. Haha. It was cute. Well then I decided to go over to Jack and we high fived and took a picture but he’s like WAIT I MOVED LET’S DO ANOTHER. So we took another better one and it was cute. I gave him a big hug and moved on to Zack. So I walk up to him and point at his shoes and go “Heeey my shoes are kinda like that” and show him my shoes. He’s like “Kind of, but mine are real silver so they’re better.” And I’m like “Real silver? Really? Those musta cost a lot!” and he’s like “No, not really. Haha.” Then we took a picture and he was smiling real big and it was cute.

Then Kristen asked Alex if he’d go over by Jack so she could get a picture with both of them so he did and she took her picture and I’m like ME NEXT and just kinda jumped in there. Haha in that picture neither of them smiled and it was sad. I still like it though. I have to wait for Kristen to put it up so I can share with you guys. Then we all kind of crowded around getting ready for the twitpic and I was kinda kneeling on the ground and all the guys came up and sat right in front of me and my friends. Rian was right in front of me and Jack on the other side of him so I kinda leaned again Rian and during one of the two twitpics I gave Rian bunny ears, haha. I hope they post it.

Then they wave goodbye and skip off, it was cute.

Hey Monday

My best friend and I decided we’d go up in the balcony until All Time Low and so we were like right up front and creepin’ on Pat Brown right below me until Hey Monday started. They were good but not excellent you know. At the last song a bunch of people came on in FOB gear I think with yellow tape and the marcarena started playing and they tried to tape all the peeps in Hey Monday together and then Cassadee started doing the marcarena and yeah. It was funny.

Metro Station

We had to move for Metro Station because people who had the seats we were in wanted them back so we went stage left (Zack’s side) and sat like 2 rows from the bottom. We saw everyone underneath us before they went onstage and it was great. The highlight of Metro’s set was when someone in a big bunny costume came onstage during Shake It and started shaking it’s tail. Hahah.

Cobra

Oh my God I officially loveee them after that set last night. I sang/danced along with all the songs and during Hollaback Boy Gabe’s like “I’m gonna bring my girlfriend on stage to sing for you all, okay?” and Jeffree Star came onstage and sang a little bit. It was… interesting. And then during another part of their set all of the guys of Sing It Loud  (minus Pat) came onstage and started doing this cute little dance and ah I was so happy to see that. And it was amazing.

All Time Low!

To be honest I don’t remember much of what went on because I was just too into it. The ground floor wasn’t too into it (we decided to stay stage left because we could see better there) they were just like standing there and Alex was trying to make them move around but I think they were tired out from Metro. Ew. I don’t remember much else because it was just amazing but there weren’t really any pranks except some of the guys in Hey Monday came out during the first song in FOB gear and were like jumpin’ on Zack and Jack’s backs and it was funny. ATL did amazing as usual.

Fall Out Boy

Before FOB we were wandering around on the ground floor and I decided to go over where I saw the SIL dudes before and see if they were there again and NATE WAS. I went up to him, tapped him on his shoulder, he turned around and his face brightened up and he was like HAY GIRL! and gave me a huge hug. He’s like I see you everywhere! Then we talked about Cobra and him getting on stage and I asked if it was planned and he was like naw, Gabe just asked us to come on and we just made up a dance on the spot. Haha. Then I was like can we get another picture and he’s like OF COURSE, we took a picture but the first one he had his eyes closed haha so he’s like LETS TAKE ANOTHER. And we took a better one. I look like shit but he looks cute. Then he gave me another hug and was like “Well thank you for coming to say hi to me. It really makes my night when you come say hi because you do at every show!” (I had seen him at FTSK the night before) and he gave me another long hug and rubbed my back and yeah. I smiled, waved and left.

Then FOB started and ATL (minus Rian and plus Gabe) came onstage in their undies and stood still with their hands over their private places next to these swat dudes. It’s hilarious you have seen the pictures on the thread. Jack was over by Gabe and they were like sippin’ on something in a big glass. It was funny.

The rest of FOB’s set was good, I enjoyed it but halfway through Michaella called me and we went out to the merch area to meet her. Then we see Ben from Sing It Loud so I go up to him and asked him if he’d take a picture with me because I didn’t get one at their show and he’s like LET’S DO IT! And we took our photo. Then we went back and Michaella went who knows where but I turned and saw her over by Vinny and so I went over there and smiled and said HI VINNY! He’s like hello and gave me a high five that turned into him lacing his fingers with mine momentarily and it was cute. Haha. I asked for a picture and he said sure and the whole time he was like rubbing my back. Felt kinda good cuz my shoulders were sore. I smiled, thanked him and told him to enjoy the rest of his night.

Then watched the rest of the set. Was good, but the best part was the very last song when ALL of the bands came onstage and went crazy and Pete took his shirt off and went into the crowd and it was great!!

That was my night. Was WONDERFUL!

BND May 9th, ftw :) Meghan (meghanxatl)

so i woke up at about 8 on saturday morning, hoping that friday night’s rain would’ve canceled my softball games. unforunately it didnt rain enough to cancel them, so my mom said i at least had to play one of my games, which was at 11am. so i played my game, got done at about 12:45, and got home at about 1. i ate lunch and rushed to get ready and get my stuff together. then i went to my friends house at about 2 and we left for allstate at about 2:35. i was pretty stressed out by this time to say the least. rofl. but then we blasted ATL in the car the whole ride up there.

we got there at about 3:45 and we went to the box office, hoping to get our m&g stuff. the people at the box office told us to go to this press room to go get them. so we walked over there and the door was locked. soo we thought we’d ask this security guard if he knew where we were supposed to go. BIG MISTAKE. he started flipping out on my mom telling her that she didnt read the email even though she did and that my mom was arguing with him when all she did was ask a simple question. he started calling her a kid and shit because she supposebly didnt read the email all the way through. biggest asshole ive ever met in my entire life. so after that, we walked across the street back to stand outside the box office and wait. while i was crossing the street i see cassie, megan, katie, and katie run over. it was so good to see them :) so we all stood outside of the box office building for about 15 mins. cassie had a huge bag of peppermints and we all took some to throw at trace on stage since horse like peppermints. hahaha. :D then we started going back and forth across the street trying to figure out where to go. we had to ask so many people what they were in line for. finally after walking across the street & back about 92384792 times we finally figured out where we had to go. so me, my friend sam, cassie, megan, katie, ashley, and jesse all stood outside the doors for about 15 minutes or so. then flyzik finally came out and got us so we went inside, got our GA wristbands and then checked with the people to get our m&g wristbands. i was supposed to have 4 wristbands, 2 extra for megan & cassie, but they ended up only giving me 2. thankfully ashley had an extra wristband to give to megan, but cassie didnt have one. we were all standing in a line waiting to go down to the floor and cassie was freaking out. i wouldve been too. we didnt even know what to do because she was already in the venue but couldnt go anywhere since she didnt have m&g. but then we all started walking down to the floor. so cassie just started walking with us. they didnt even check m&g wristbands or anything, so cassie pretty much snuck into the m&g. it was kinda cool :)

M&G

so we were down on the floor anxiously awaiting for ATL to come out. but of course, metro had to come out first. they came on a golf cart. all the hustlers naaaayed at trace while the metro girls started screaming :P the metro m&g was so strict. they all had to stand in a line while the band members just went around. :P theeen ATL came walking out :) me, cassie, and sam went up to alex first. i had him sign my shoe & i gave him his halls vitamin c drops & he really seemed to appreciate it. when we were taking a picture he was like “aw, i dont wanna get you sick!” then i told him it was fine that im pretty much already sick right now. then he hoped i felt better soon & i told him the same. next we went to rian and me & cassie both got him little yankee candles. he seemed to like them alot. he signed my shoe and we got a picture. didnt have much time to talk with him really. :/ next i went to zack. i gave him his hot chocolate. rofl i probably sounded so stupid because i was like “i got you hot chocolate! i heard you liked it a lot. but im gonna feel really stupid if you dont like hot chocolate.” bahaha. but he said he loves hot chocolate & that it made him feel like a little kid. i was like awwww :) he wrote is name in huge letters and underlines so nobody would take it. lol. then he signed my shoe, got a picture, and went off to jack. i got to jack and gave him his easy mac. he said it was awesome and he told me he loved me. then he signed my shoe and we got a picture. by this time, m&g was already over. fastest 25 minutes of my life. i didnt even get to talk to alex about singing happy birthday to me or my milwaukee plan because he left m&g early. then me & cassie ran to the crowd. we got 2nd/3rd ‘row.’ none of the hustlers got barricade sadly because of all the FOB early entry. me, cassie, megan, & katie all attempted to take crowd pictures until hey monday’s set started. hahah, it was fun.

HEY MONDAY

 their set was SO good. 2nd time seeing them live. i really enjoyed it. i pretty much knew all of the words so i sang along the whole time. i almost caught one of their pics, but the girl in front of me grab it before it got to me.

METRO STATION

they suck so much live. my mom said that they were the worst band that shes ever heard live. EVER. and shes been to many concerts. ngl, i actually somewhat had fun when they played control just because i like that song. i almost threw up in my mouth when trace cyrus took his shirt off. i was like EW PUT THAT BACK ON. bleeeh. there was this girl by me in the crowd who had trace written on her boob. ew. then this one guy was like YOU SUCK BUT CAN I BANG YOUR SISTER?! bahah. i laughed.

ALL TIME LOW!

ahh this was love. in front of jack. kinda in between him & alex. i almost cried when they started playing weightless because i was so happy. alex said he wanted to take off everyones clothes. someone threw a ball on stage and tried stuffing it down his shirt cause he wanted to be pregnant. lol. then alex wanted to give water to this girl about ready to pass out in the pit, but jack beat him to it so alex was like “I WANTED TO BE THE HERO!” rofl. then at the end of dear maria, jack crowd dove as usual and instead of singing “theres a story at the bottom of this bottle”, alex sang “theres a story at the bottom of chicagooooo.” :) great set. went by way too fast. but i got some really good pictures. <3 

COBRA STARSHIP

first time seeing them live, and i was really impressed. gabe has such good stage presence. they played hollaback boy. and sadly i was one of the few people singing along to their new song. i had a really good time except for this 45 year old guy elbowing me in the face and resting his arm on my head. asshole. i told get to gtfo me. after their set, i had to get out of the pit. i wanted to be close for at least one of FOBs songs, but i was so close to dehydrating. so i got out of the pit, found my mom almost instantly and went and got a huge cup of water. i chugged the whole thing. then i stood in line to get merch and saw ashley, megan, katie, and jesse. i ate some of jesses popcorn. haha, then i got my merch and stood in the back for FOBs set.

FALL OUT BOY

 i had a great time during their set. ive gained so much respect for them after this night. me and my friends sam and megan just jumped around and dance & sang. little did i know that alex and jack were watching them not far from where we were. i had a proud mommy moment when alex played grand theft autumn with FOB. i loved his suspenders that he had on. FOBs set was over, and we had to leave asap cause i had to get up at 5 the next morning and it was already past 11.

on the drive home, we stopped at the o’hare oasis for food, talked about our pit experiences, and had an ATL sing a long with no music. it was about 12:45 when i got home. didnt fall asleep until about 1:35 or so. then i had to get up at 5 the next morning. i was so tired but that night was totally worth it. :)

Alright so, i FINALLY get to write my Believer’s review type thingy. This will be long, so bare with me. It’s 8:57 am. I’m in broadcasting, typing this as a draft on my email, jamming to “This is how we do”
Anyways, so yesterday Caleb, Danielle & I left school at noon. Right before our 5th period ended because for some reason we were on an advisor schedule. And so we quickly signed ourselves out, and danielle and i waited for caleb on the curb (hahaa) so he drove around the school and got us. It looked like a drive by, or robery or something because we ran in so fast. Then we went to his house and to sheetz to get some grub and then we were on the road (finally)
Once we realized we were in columbus and THOUGHT we knew where we were going (we were sadly mistaken) we ended up going down like ten million different one-way streets, trying to find HIGH street and NEAL AVE or something and we found it but then it quickly dispeared. Hahaha. We ended up getting so lost that we had to ask a mail man for directions, and at this point i was like getting nervous because it was already 3 :( So we finally called Michelle’s dad, and he found us in this parkinglot of like random shops and we followed him to the venue. 
But during the entire getting lost fiasco we were all cracking up so bad. Like this.

So we walk up to boxoffice (and it was the same girl working as AP tour on friday, and caleb didn’t like her. haha) So we walked to the hustler line, found julia and jackson and started to have a party and planned what we were going to say to the boys. We’re all going to the PA show too. (Kelsey. Jackson. Michelle. Me. Jackie. Angie. and other peolpe i don’t know) But yeah we all made friends fast. And the line was like mobbing around us (we were supposed to wait by the WNCI van but it was raining so hard so we stayed under the roof part of the venue) and people were like cutting us and shit so we got worried mat didn’t see us in the corner, purple wrist bands and all so I GOT THE BRIGHT IDEA TO SCREAM “HEY MAAAAAT” really loud, so we all did it. All nine of us. and seriously like 40 people looked at us. I guess there were a lot of people named Matt.
One of the Event Staff guys came over and guided us to the doors. We all held hands like bad asses. Or arms in the air, and people were like OMGWTF THEY’RE CUTTERS and we were like MEET AND GREET BITCHES. So we stood by really annoying fawb AND meto kids. their were undergound kids. i was like :O. so finally after waiting forever, we see matty fly (aly and ann holy  shit i seeeee where the love comes from NEGL) so we all get in like this mob type of grouping inside from the rain and i was like FREAKING out because i was so nervous. and matt comes over and is like:
“ALRIGHT GUYS, WHO’S HERE FOR METRO STATION”we didn’t expect ANYONE to admit it. but sure enough like six girls did.and EVERY hustler was like HAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHABAHAH. i’m pretty sure i laughed the loudest. and matt seriously tried NOT to laugh. it was great.so then when we were separated from them matt was like “this is gonna be real chill i’m gonna go get the guys and just do whatever” and he like looked at me the whole time. i was like, so astonished at the time because i’m such a dork. so we all go get in a “line” or something and we thought metro was coming out. but we lucked out and didn’t have to meet them. and i was like dry heaving from excitment. it was intense. so i called sarah and as soon as i called sarah, zack came out and i was liek “THEY’RE HERE I HAVE TO GO BYE” (sorry for like hanging up btw bby) so i was like AHHHHHHHHHH and i was still in like the “line” we made and then decided to move. so i ran over to rian, and gave him his candles. he said we were awesome. i also gave him a NOTHING PERSONAL BRACELET. :D then i walkeed over to zack and was like I LOVE YOU, CAN WE TAKE A PICTURE. he looked so sick :( we took a picture, i gave him his chilis card and a nothing personal bracelet. then i tried to get alex’s attention.
I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS. AS SOON AS I WALKED OVER TO ZACK. ALEX WAS TALKING TO SOME REALLY..INTERESTING GIRLS AND I WAS WEARING MY ‘WHERES THE BEEF’ SHIRT AND ALEX WAS LIKE
“WHOA WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR SHIRT?!?!”and i was like “…………”
and michelle goes
“CARLIE’S GOING TO PEE HERSELF”and i muttered  “ETSY BUT MINE IS A LIGHTER YELLOW THAN YOURS”and realized how creepy i sounded and he was like”YEAH YOU DON’T HAVE THE WENDYS LOGO :(”
So i walked over to jack, gave him the bracelet and he put it on RIGHT AWAY and was like “HEY ALEX HAS THAT SHIRT” and i looked at him like a retard and was like “yeah.. i know.. that’s why I HAVE IT” lmfaooo :( and we took two pictures :D he was really nice. He did some awkward handshake thing with jackson and michelle. Michelle and him are brosephs for life.
So i walked over to Alex FINALLY. and i was like “HI! THIS IS FOR YOU” and i handed him everything, and i was like “can you please sign my phone” and hes like “OF COURSE!” so he did and then we took a picture. He smelled so good. i kept my cool and felt so good about it for the most part. his signature is rubbing off my phone already though :( damn rain.
After they left we got let into the venue with OCK. So all the hustlers stuck together, and stood on stage left (jacks side)
At this point is was POURING DOWN THE RAIN. Everyone was miserable. Cold. Wet. Tired. Excited. Like every emotion. My clothes seriously looked like i showered with them on. So i felt so bad for “Hey Monday” because we were all so miserable that we didn’t really move. But their set was pretty bad ass, i love them so i had a ball of fun. Cassadee looked at me a lot, so did her guitarist / bassist.
Cobra came out and it was alright. Gabe walked through the photopit, and since we had barricade he came to say hi to us. I touched him. LOL. I don’t like cobra that much so…
Then metro came out. At this point Kelsey and i had made good friends with the security guards and we told them how much we hated metro station HAHAHAH. and yeah Trace took his shirt off and it was just nasty. NASTY. Enough about that. LOL.
After metro was ATL.Their amps saidnothing personal, butt scratcher!
HAHAHAATheir set was amazing. But i will say that it seriously wasn’t long enough. Metros was way longer. I had a blast though. Jack was on our side and kept smiling at all of the huslters. So did alex. Zack didn’t really move much. Jack was all around the stage. and in the crowd too. I have some of that on video. I’m glad there were no circle pits. But crowd surfers landed on our heads like ten million times because you guys know how alex is. He looked straight at me and was like “WHY ARE THERE NO CROWD SURFERS ON THIS SIDE” and all the hustlers next to me were like ALEX NO ARE YOU STUPID NO WER’E TINY NO NO NO So needless to say people kept flying past / on us. I had a blast though. I just wish i wasn’t so cold and miserable. Alex told us we were getting to third base with him. WHATEVER THAT IS. After atl, all the drunk over age people were crowding us kids on barricade. So i had staff lift me out. I didn’t want to see FAWB anyways. So i walked around the venue, watched their set from afar. Got two shirts, and a poster. NEVER TALKED TO VINNY. Didn’t want to bother him when he was selling merch (he looked really frustrated so i was trying to get him when he was walking around but it didn’t work) so next time maybe.
THINGS I LEARNED- Drawstring plastic bags aren’t water proof- Neither is sharpie marker- The boys are so nice- Barricade is worth every ounce of pain i’m in right now - Jack and alex looked at me like 541343541 times- Slutty obnox girls get more attention than nervous dedicated ones :(

BND May 9, 2009. FOB Hometown show, ftw. - Megan [jbkat_ftw3]

So, I woke up Saturday may 9, 2009 at about 10 am to start getting ready. I had to wait till my mom got home from work at 12:15 to leave. Once she got home we were on our way to a mall about 20 minutes away where I would meet up with Katie [allkatielow] and we would leave to Allstate. I got there at about 12:45 and we left right away. We pretty much jammed to all time low the whole way there. Woop woop.  we took a few wrong turns, but we ended up getting there by no later than 1:30. There weren’t as many people there as I thought there would be. But when we got there we waited in line with cassie and her friend Nicole. ‘twas fun. We made a few target runs because we were following the bands’ twitters and seeing what they were up to, haha. One time we went there, cassie spotted Vicky-t in the makeup aisle. Haha. I saw her from a way distance walking out, lol. It was cool that target was right next door, and starbucks was across the street.  we were creepin’ on Lisa’s twitter and we saw her walk by on her way to starbucks, haha. Then as she was walking back by the line we kept yelling her name and she looked like she wanted to hide. I felt bad, but eventually she did wave. Haha. We’re too much of creepers.

Then it was getting closer to meet and greet time, about 4oclock. Which is when we found Ashley, jesse, and Meghan. The meet and greet was pretty unorganized, not gonna lie. We were told to stay by the box office, then the police told us to go toward the venue, so we went there. Then we were told to go back to where we were, and once again, back to the venue where a line was FINALLY formed for metro/atl meet and greet. At this point, I actually didn’t have meet and greet. I was banking on getting in with meghan’s extra meet and greet tickets. Haha. Then finally at about 4:45 or something Flyzik came out and got all of us. I walked in and when it came to meet and greet, Ashley actually gave me her extra ticket she had all along. Apparently it was a surprise.  thanks girl. Also, meghan’s extra meet and greets did not work anyway, so I got lucky.

The boys came out and I immediately ran to Jack with Katie, rofl. We got up to him, and I could tell he was still upset. Poor boy. Then Katie gave him his new Cubs hat which I never approved of, ahaha. She claims he was completely uninterested in receiving it, but whatever. She’s wrong. Lol. It was my turn to talk to him. Yess. I went up for a high five, and he opened his arms for a hug. I died, rofl. I had him sign my shirt, and I chatted with him about it and if he liked ‘em and whatnot. Then I asked for two pictures, haha. The first one was just normal. And he was totally just squeezing me, I didn’t want it to end. Then the second one I was like can we do a funny one?! And he’s like “nope!” then laughs. Cute. We were hugging and apparently we made the same face, sticking our tongue out, and then during the picture this chick was like “aww they’re making the same face!”..while we were wearing the same color flannel shirt, too. Haha. So jack was like “so we’re boyfriend and girlfriend! *smile*” I was like “oh yes, we are!” and then I grabbed his hand and we did a handshake. Yes. I gave him one last hug then I left, hah.

I was going to go to alex but there were too many people by him, so I went by Zack. He was..interesting. haha. He’s cute. I told him I loved his shoes.  and then I was standing on the wrong side of the floor or something and flyzik’s like”you can only be on that side” I was like”ahh, sorry” mand then zack is like “I can only be on this side!” I was like haha okay. So we took a picture and I walked toward rian. I didn’t really chat with him much, unfortunately. I took a picture, and went to look for alex. He was no where to be found. =[ apparently he had to leave to get medicine and said he’d be back but lied, and never came back. I was very upset. I shoulda went to him first. So I just went back by jack, haha.  flyzik was like we have to go, jack. And he’s like “aww =[ why?!” I was like awwww. So he started walking away and I asked for one last hug but I didn’t get it so I just grabbed his hand as he walked away. Great. 

Then we went up to the stage. I think I was about 4th row on the leftside of the stage at that point. Not too shabby. We waited there for a little over an hour for hey Monday to start. Finally, they came on. I don’t know like any of the words to their songs but I think I’m going to start listening to them more. During their set I caught one of their picks. Good stuff. Katie was jealous. =P their set wasn’t too crazy.

Until metro station…I used to love them so I knew all the words to their songs. So I was singing along but I’m not fond of them at ALL anymore. Ew. When trace took off his shirt I was like oh god. Put it back on. I have nothing else to say about them, lol.

Then it was all time low!! :D they did so well. I was right in front of jack so I was happy. Their set got crazy though. I was dying in there. But I really wanted to catch one of jack’s picks. I was close a few times but not close enough. Boohoo. =[ but when I heard weightless I died a little. Hearing it live made me love it 284024 times more. I recorded about 4 songs from their set, they’re on youtube.  during the set someone threw a huge ball on stage and jack tried to shove it in his shirt because he wanted to be pregnant. Haha. And then during the set a girl in the pit was like hurt or really hot or something so alex was like “here, let me throw you some water!” and then jack went to get water too, and got it to the girl first. Alex was like “ I wanted to be the hero!!” aha, it was too cute.

After all time low, Katie, me, and cassie got outta the pit because it was too crazy for me. So we went and found Ashley and jesse. We hung around them and then when cobra starship came on we just started dancing. Probably more fun than the pit, haha.  I enjoyed it. They did really well. As usual.

Then before fall out boy we went to get water and food and look at merch. Like alllll of the good atl merch was sold out already. Probably because there were 13,000 people at the venue, rofl. But then we went back down and chilled when fall out boy was on. We saw gaskarth by the sound board and whatnot so we creeped behind him. Hah. Lisa was there, too. During sugar, we’re goin’ down alex turned around and was in awe by everyone singing to it. It was really cute. I miss it. When he sang during grand theft autumn I was so proud. Dream come true for him.
and then I kept getting tweets from Jack saying that it was a dream come true watching fall out boy at their hometown show. I was just like awwww, what a cute boy. Haha.

After fob we got a tweet saying vinny vegas was by one of the merch booths so we went over there and talked to him. I didn’t say much, just listened. Haha. But I did tell him I was graduating the day I was seeing ‘em in Milwaukee. He said lets go to taco bell. Haha.

Then after we saw beth, fob’s merch girl, and vinny left. Then Ashley and jesse left. Then like 5 minutes later we left, haha because all time low couldn’t come out because of the cops. But apparently gabe and the cobras were out. Oopsies. We just listened to all time low the whole way home, missing the night we had been waiting for for months. It was a good time.

So.
5/12, Cleveland.
We left at 1, because we knew that A. the line was going to be long for my friends who didn’t have m&g, and B. I had to be there at 4:15, so we left decently early. On the way there we were being followed by a cop, but then he stopped at a speed trap area and just posted out there for a while. Then, like five minutes later, we saw him speeding down the road after a car that had sped by us and pulled that dude over. It was so funny.

Anyway, so we get into Cleveland and we go into the wrong place to park, because TWCA doesn’t know how to tell their patrons where to park, and we also ended up paying like ten dollars to park, but that’s okay, because we were decently close to the venue and didn’t have to walk far at all. So we go to the front, I procrastinate and wait to get my wristbands, until finally I go up and get them. Whoop.

Emmy and I are texting to try and figure out where the heck we are, so I tell her I’m going to have my hand raised in the air. And so she comes and jumps me like she had said haha, and we stand around and talk for a little bit before we have to get in our m&g lines.

Not gonna lie, I’m really glad I had m&g with ATL as opposed to FOB/Metro. FOB’s meet and greet was not only huge, but they had to stand in line and all they got was a signing table, I don’t think they were allowed to take pictures or anything. Metro only hung with their fans for like ten seconds, and it was creepy from where we were standing. Trace Cyrus is even creepier in person. Because the like, five girls that had m&g from their fanclub had drawn boobs and dicks all over their arms, written “METRO STATION” all over themselves…it was really, really gross and so nasty.

So we get into the m&g and MattFly explains it all to us, how it’s going to work, etc, and we set around and have to wait for the boys. I get tapped on the shoulder and this girl starts telling me how I was the one who saved her life at sellouts by letting her get to the front/in front of me at sellout, because I had barricade and she was seriously dying behind me, and I had to get out to go find my friends. But she remembered me, which I thought was nuts but so cool! So she thanked me and…it was cool. :D Then we see the boys and Vinny creeping by the edge of the venue. The girl behind us starts crying because Alex was wearing his (fake, bahaha) glasses. I was like “….o.o.”

Anyway, so the m&g went pretty much the way Emmy put it. Zack was out of it because he was sick and had a fever. Rian LOVED the giftcard and went to go show it to Matt (who is the personal holder for all their stuff haha) and then they were sniffing the candles and arguing about what it smelled like. Matt was seriously just standing there sniffing the candles for a good two minutes, ahaha. But Rian got so excited about the giftcard.

Then we went to Alex, who was being mobbed of course, and Emmy and I pulled a creeper move and just sort of lingered. We finally got our stuff signed and got a picture (with emmy on my back) with him, and lsdkfj that boy is so adorable in person.

AND THEN JACK. Who looked like he was bummin, but he went down the line and took all of our stuff to sign it, and then when he got to me, I held out the giftcard and he froze, and his face got all shocked, and then he was like “I love you. I love you.” And gave us all hugs. He was SO shocked, but SO excited about it. Him and Rian had the same reaction, kind of. Like, when the card was held out they both looked at it, froze, looked at us, and then were all “THANKYOUILOVEYOUTHANKYOU” kind of reactions. It was so cute.

(Jack twitpiced the card later, because I had put a note in both of their cards that had said ‘you better twitpic this shit Jack Barakat or something to that effect, so he did! :D)

Anyway, so eventually Matt pulls the boys away. I feel bad because Zack and Rian weren’t really getting anyone after the first five minutes, but Zack was sick and Rian was harassing Matt haha. Zack was walking around the venue carrying Beth and Matt on his shoulders…bahaha. So funny. And Rian was playing that game where you lock palms and lock positions and try to push the other person over with Beth. I think it was Beth and Rian, at least.

Either way, m&g was really fun. It seemed so short, though. Matt said he assumed Danny liked his gift card, and we saw Danny later but didn’t get a chance to talk to him about it.

So, the FOB EE kids get in and they all congregate towards the middle of the pit, so we station ourselves on Zack/Pete’s side, and then after people start coming in, some random rapper guy gets onstage and starts rapping? We’re all like “O.O THIS ISN’T FIDDY….WHO IS THIS?” so funny, but finally he got offstage and Emmy and I were left to creep on Hey Monday’s cute guitar tech. Mhm.

HEY MONDAY

So good. Cassadee has such a great voice live. They played Run, Don’t Walk, Candles, Homecoming, How You Love Me Now, and I think Obvious. Pete came out during Run, Don’t Walk, and every single Pete fan in the building (I mean, he’s married, come on |: ) screamed and did all that fangirly stuff. So good, though. I’m so glad I finally got to see them live. Such a good band, great live sound.

ALL TIME LOW

They owned, of course. Alex’s pants were falling off. Lisa was creepin in the background. Jack jumped into the pit and went to the back, and Matt had to go with him. Emmy and I were like “RUN MATT, RUN!” because Jack was moving faster than Matt seemed like he wanted to go haha. So cute, though. Alex and Jack did the thing where they throw their guitars and this time, Danny didn’t get clocked in the head :D but it was Flyzik and Danny. Vinny came out and played at some point. It was cool to see them incorporating their crew into their show. Emmy and I creeped on Evan and Greico after ATL was done. But yeah! ATL was great as always. This was the first time I’d seen them as a non-headliner, so I was a little bummed that their set was so short, but eh. I was really ticked they played first, but I’d known that for a few weeks. They opened with Six Feet, and closed with Dear Maria, and inbetween there was Coffeeshop, Jasey Rae, Weightless, The Beach, and…maybe one more? I don’t remember. Great set , though. Our boys make me proud.

METROSEXUAL STATION

Uh. Emmy and I spent the time trying to get Trace’s horse face. She succeeded. I didn’t, aha. We were really obnoxious and kept yelling negative things at the stage, like “NO!” and pretending to die when Trace took his shirt off (slkfdj ew) and then he took a towel, wiped his pits with it, and threw it out into the crowd. Trace Cyrus, you think you’re hot shit, when really….you’re just shit. I have no idea how your stupid band made it on this tour, especially since the other bands have a bass player, acknowledge their other band members, are class A acts, and at least have a semi-unannoying following. Who would want to listen to a band that sings about sleeping with underage girls? At the end of their set, their poor drummer had to like, motion for the crowd to make some noise for him so he could throw his sticks in the crowd, but it really didn’t get much louder than it had been in the first place. The drummer and the keyboarder (synth ? i don’t even know) need to find a new band to play with.

Sorry, rant done.

COBRA STARSHIP

G-A-B-E GUNNA GET YOU HIGH. So good. I love Cobra, but Gabey yelled at our side of the stage when he didn’t see everyone’s fangs up bahaha. He kept going “PUT YOUR FUCKING FANGS UP!” ahahah. So funny. Cassadee came out and sang on Snakes on a Plane, because the ATL boys had made themselves scarce and disappeared to the Indian’s game across the street. Boo. Fuckin baseball. But they have a fun set—GREAT LIGHTSHOW. So much fun. I fuckin love Nate :D

FALL OUT BOY

took FOREVER to set up. Annoying as fuq. But they finally came onstage, and people screamed. These girls next to me kept screaming at Pete and I was about to clock them in the head and be like 1. he’s married AND has a child. 2. you’re not even singing along to ANY of the songs! 3. GET YOUR HAND OUT OF MY FACE. FOB has some of the most annoying fans on the planet, js. But other than that, FOB was GREAT. I’ve wanted to see them since I was maybe 13, 14, and finally I get to! I wasn’t disappointed. They played all of my favorites, and Hey Ya!. No Alex on Grand Theft Autumn, because they were at the game, which I was bummed about, but whatever….I guess I’m okay with it haha. It was a great set. They played Dance, Dance, which I knew they were going to but it’s still like my favorite FOB song, aside from Tiffany Blews and GTA, and Saturday, which Emmy and I were excited for. We left about halfway through Saturday, though.

Overall, so good. So, so good. I wish I could relive it. :D

Emmys BND :D (5/12)

HAI :) Alright. So, I was sitting in tenth period (final one) waiting for the bell to ring. It was finally 2:30 and I SPRINTED through the halls of my school up to my locker. SPRINTED. I found Torii, then went and got my stuff, went pee, then got in the car to go. We drove to Wendy’s cause we were hungry, ate a little somethin’ somethin’ there. Then we were on our way to Cleveland! We got there around 3:45-4:00 or so. We ended up going the wrong way, and we drove where the buses were parked. We saw Zack, Vickyt, and Rian creepin’ by ATL’s bus :D Haha. Anyway. We went to the front, got our wristbands, and went and tried to find the right line. I was texting Sarah asking her where she was, and she said she was raising her hand standing up. I was walking around, then I see this girl standing there with her hand up :D It was Sarah woooo. I raaaaan and jumped on her like I told her I would. :D We stood there for a few, went and got bracelets etc blah blah blah. Waited for Matt until about 4:30. Then they let us in. I jumped on Sarah’s back, and she carried me into the M&G like we planned. I kept slipping though lolol. Then the boys came. Slowly :D haha but surely. The first person I went to was Zack. He was really awkward, I had him sign my ticket, and get a picture. We didn’t really talk at all. :( He tweeted later that he had a fever and he was sorry for not really hanging out cause he didn’t want anyone sick. So that explains him. He was still very sweet. Then we got Rian :D We gave him his candles, and his giftcard to Chili’s. He loved his candles so much, then ran and showed Matt his Chili’s card :) He seemed so stoked, it was cute. We got stuff signed then got a picture and said byebye. We went over to Alex, and waited forever tbh. Cause I’m a chicken and I completley choked in front of him. It was awful. I couldn’t say a word :/ Idk what happened to me. But we finally got to him, and I can’t really remember what we talked about. Haha. I had to ask for a picture 8713298472 times :o I think his ears were still clogged :P You could tell he was still sick. But we got a picture, I was on Sarah’s back ;D Then we moved on to go over to Jack. We waited for him too. Cause again, I was too much of a chicken. I seriously don’t know what happened. I’m so disappointed in myself though, I regret it so much. But we gave him his Chili’s giftcard, and his face lit up so much! All he could spit out was “I love you. I love you.” And he gave us all a hug. I had him call Cassie because I promised her a call :) Then I think that’s really it. M&G plan failed for me overall. I wish everyone was in a happier mood. After that I went and bought merch and stuff. But, now onto the show. haha. Me Torii Sarah and her friends got barricade, right side. I was happy with our spot, wasn’t too bad. Could still see everything and not really that bad of pushing. At about 6:10 some rapper guy came on? Haha we had no idea who he was. At first we were like FIDDY?! But it wasn’t him. Hey Monday Greeeeeeeat! Started out with Run don’t walk, ended with Homecoming pretty sure. I adore Cassadee, she’s adorable. She’s incredibly good live too, along with the whole band. I loved their set alot personally. People were singing wrong lyrics and not really jumping as far as I could see, but I still loved it. ATL :D Woooosh incredible as always. Started out with Six Feet and ended with Dear Maria. Zack had a pink bass, it was pretty sweet. Halfway through the set I saw Lisa creepin side stage. She’s so pretty in person! I was about to wave but then I’d feel really creepy. During the set Jack jumped off stage and went in the crowd and played guitar haha. They had a signing at 8:25 but I didn’t go, since we had m&g earlier. But their set was fun as always.Metro Sexuals Trace is a horse. Me Sarah and Torii made fun of their set the whole time. So that’s about it. Cobrazzz Fucking insanely fun. I need to see them again, I can’t believe I waited that long to see them. Gabe’s moves are fun, and he’s hilarious along with everyone else. I think Ryland is really awkward on stage though haha. But before Kiss My Sass, Gabe had everyone do fangs up. I had my camera in my hand and couldn’t slip it in my pocket that quick, so I just did it halfway, barely. Gabe looked over at our side of the crowd and said “YOU GET YOUR FUCKIN FANGS UP! RIGHT THERE GET IT UP! PUT IT DOWN AND GET YOUR FUCKIN FANGS UP!” or something like that. Lulz, Gabeybabey yelled at me :( :) But great set overall, loved it. FOB Really glad I got to finally see them. I don’t like how they had the whole Corporate thing set up. Maybe because I already knew before I got there. IDK It just seemed really pointless when you were watching it. Pete’s hair was looking really good that night though, shit. Anyway. They didn’t play Shipped Gold Standard or they didn’t have Alex sing on where is your boy. I was upset, because all the ATL guys were over at the Indians game during the rest of the show. :/ I feel like I missed out on not seeing him with FOB living his dream on stage like that. But it’s alright. Overall, everything was swell. Well worth my money. I forgot ALOT of things so I might edit this later. But I think this is long enough. :)

5/5 TORONTO, ON – ALESIA (ALESIAX)

Before:

I got to the venue at about 2:00, which wasn’t really necessary but I told my parents I had meet and greet at 2:30 because I wanted to get out of school haha.  The Hey Monday boys were outside talking to people but I didn’t feel like getting out of my car.  Finally my friends came and they went to go wait by the buses.  The only highlight was me thinking some guy was Vinny and I screamed his name and he turned around and it was Pete Wentz and everyone started freaking out.

Meet and Greet:

Matt was pretty late but whatever haha, he explained the rules to us blah blah and then basically everyone had to go to the bathroom and he was like what is this? And he didn’t want us running off everywhere so he said something about him getting a leash for all of us and attaching it to a sled so we can pull him around well he sat on the sled? I can’t remember but it was funny lol.  While we waited for everyone to go to the bathroom some girls were asking me who Matt was and how they were gonna propose to him after :S

Then Matt gave us the best news ever and said that Metro Station wouldn’t be at the meet and greet because they missed their flight and were still in Chicago.  There was 2 girls there for the Metro Station m&g though and they started throwing a shit fit about how they didn’t know who ATL was and that they didn’t give a shit about meeting them and the look on Matt’s face was hilarious! I told the girls Metro Station are assholes anyway and Matt just nodded his head in agreement.  That didn’t make them too happy.

Anyway! Matt went to go get the boys.  Everyone immediately crowded around Jack.  Alex was just standing there looking all awkward haha.  I don’t remember exact conversations but I talked to Alex, Rian, Zack then I went up to Jack once the mob around him died down.  So I talked to him for a bit and then he said he’d talk to me after he finished signing everyone elses stuff and I said I had a favour to ask him.  So then I decided to go talk to Matt and Vinny and Matt was arguing with me over hockey.  Then Jack came up to me and asked me what the favour was and I asked if he could do my voicemail because they reset my phone during the day so my old one got deleted L So he grabbed my phone and ran away with it haha I don’t even know how he figured out how to change my voicemail.  Matt was like you better go run after him or you won’t be getting your phone back.  Well I couldn’t find Jack! But he did come back after 5 minutes.  We took the group picture and Matt told me to sit on the floor because I’m really short, Jack still hasn’t posted it! Then it was time to leave so I said my goodbyes and Jack told me to meet him later.

Show!

Hey Monday:

I was excited to finally see them!  I thought they were really good and Cassadee has a really nice voice.

Cobra Starship:

They had to switch times with Metro Station since they weren’t there yet.  I love Cobra live, but I prefer seeing them in smaller venues.  I still enjoyed their set though.  Gabe’s so hot on stage haha.

All Time Low!

I was so excited, the people around me…not so much.  I wish their set was longer, it was wayyyy to short.  They were amazing though, it’s incredible how much they’ve improved since the first time I’ve seen them.  I’m not sure if the crowd was really into them but no one around me was singing or anything so that kinda sucked!

After I decided to leave because I don’t like Metro Station or Fall Out Boy.  So my friend and I just sat outside of the venue for the remainder of the show which was fun although it was really damn cold.  Trace Cyrus was outside taking pictures so we decided to go say hey…he was really awkward/weird.  He’s definitely changed since I last met him a year ago haha.  After the show everyone was crowding around FOB’s bus so we moved and ran into Matt and he told us to go to the ATL bus in 10 minutes because he was gonna go pick up Jack.  He also said he’d see us in July which confused us and then they released the Toronto secret show day the next day! haha

So we went to the bus which was parked on the opposite side of the venue away from the other buses which was sweet because no one was there and hung out with Jack for a bit and then he said he wasn’t feeling too good so we told him to go inside.  Zack was just randomly sitting outside so we talked to him for a bit and then we left.

Sorry that was so long! I’m not going to bother writing about the headlining show I went to because that’ll just take up even more space haha.
